Amazing Spiderman Vol 1 1963 Issues 4 Thru 11 LgThis auction is for 8 vol 1 1963 early silver age amazing spiderman comics. These books are low grade issues that come from a time when kids bought comics to read and trade, however these issues are getting harder to find and buy in any condition so dont let this opportunity pass you by to fill in your collection. Included in this auction are issues #4the 1st appearance of sandmanthis book is in fair condition (1.5)there is tape on the inside spine and also on the inside frt coverthree small pieces of the upper frt cover are missing (see photo)the book and story appear to be complete, the back cover is in good shape#5doctor doom & fantastic four appearancethe book is in poor condition (0.5) mostly due to a small animal chewing the lt lower corner fo the book away (see photo) this does not effect the storythere is tape on the inside spine & rear cover and there is a piece of the rt upper frt cover missingthe book and story appear to be complete#61st appearence of the lizard / dr connersthis book is in poor condition (0.5)only the middle of the frt cover is original to the book (see photos), the other portions of the cover are a copy that has been taped together. The upper portion of the frt cover and the 1st two story pages were cut away when the book was new (see explaination below under issue #10)the rear cover and remainder of the book is original and complete#72nd appearance of the vulturethis book is in fair/good condition (1.8) there is tape on the inside of the frt cover where it was once torn, tape on the spine and back covera small piece has been cut off from the upper center of the rear cover (1/2 inch down 2 inches long)the book and story is complete#8the living brain & the human torchthis book is in good condition (2.5). There is spine wear and a small piece is missing around the lower staple, however hte upper staple is still holding the cover to the bookminor spine rollthe book and both stories are complete #91st appearance of electrothis book is original and complete but is missing both frt and back covers (coverless) the pages are in very good condition#10the 1st appearance of the enforcersthis book as you can see is missing the upper 1/4 of the frt cover (this was a common practice into the early sixty's, if the book did not sell right away, they would cut the title off, and put the book in the discount bin). If not for this problem the book would be in fn condition. The story and book are complete. #11the 2nd appearance of doc ockthe book is also missing the upper 1/4 of the frt cover (see explaination above) if not for this problem the book would be in vg+ conditionsomeone put their name in ink at the top of the 1st pagethe story and the remainder of the book is complete. The grade beside each book is my opinion, i am not a professional grader, however i try to be fair and grade each book as if i were buying them for ym collection. See my feedback score.
